JT Thompson (Director) -- I grew up in Thomasville, GA.  I graduated from Valdosta State University with a B.F.A. in Speech Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations in 2003.  After graduating from VSU I went to seminary in New Orleans, LA and graduated in 2006 with a Master of Divinity in Christian Education with an emphasis in Youth Ministry.  During my seminary years I met my wife, Katie, and we were married on Dec. 31, 2005.  Since graduating from Seminary we have served in full time youth ministry.  Katie and I have four children:  Hudson, 8, Lucy, 6, Adalynn, 3, & Lottie, 7 months old.  We have always had a passion for camp ministry and as of March 2015, we felt called to the Director position of Camp Crosspoint.  I am so excited to see what God has in store for Camp Crosspoint and I am humbled to serve as the Director.


Harold Smith (Assistant Director) -- Harold, wife Cindy and their children; Joshua (wife Marisa), Amanda (husband Nick), Rebekah (husband Daniel), Daniel, Kathrine and Silas. We have 2 grandchildren, Charlie & Aliza Rose. Moved in 2007, from a life of dairy farming and youth work in Hamilton, NY, to Pelham, GA to manage the grounds, maintenance and construction at Camp Charis. In 2015, became the youth pastor of FBC of Pelham and the Asst. Director of Camp Crosspoint. Prov. 3:5-10


Alisha Burdett (PR Coordinator)— My job is to help coordinate and plan events as well as post and update media for camp. My husband, Brian Burdett, and I recently took a huge leap of faith by moving to Pelham, GA in 2017 to serve where needed. We have been married since 2013, and we have our precious little girl Kaycee 😊. We live to serve and obey the call of Jesus Christ by sharing the Gospel. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Human Capital Performance from VSU and my Associate’s degree in Digital Media Technology from WGTC. We love Camp Crosspoint!

Charlie Custer (Board Secretary) -- I graduated from Troy State University in 1967 with a B.S., M.S., and E.D.S in Education.  I served as Headmaster of three Christian schools:  Prattville, AL,  Montgomery, AL, and Gasden, AL.  I joined Dr. Jerry Falwell in 1975, as Southeast Director of Planned Giving at Liberty University.  I served as Director of Development at Southeastern Bible College in Birmingham, AL for two years.  In 1984 I served as central and north Florida Director of Planned Giving.  I retired after 28 years with the Salvation Army Florida Division.  I am currently helping to establish Camp Crosspoint.  Romans 8:28


Sandy Fenstermaker (Board Member) -- I was born and raised in Tallahassee.  I married my high school sweetheart, Scott Fenstermaker, in 1986.  We are long-term members of Northwoods Baptist Church in Tallahassee.  We have home schooled our 4 children (Paul, Erica, Mindy, and Jill) who have all been a part of Camp Charis (Camp Crosspoint's predecessor) as campers, workers, counselors, and/or interns through the years.  I have been involved in this camp ministry, along with my kids, for about 10 years.  For the past number of years, I have enjoyed working as the camp kitchen coordinator, and cooking for many of the camp functions.
