My name is Dee Harris, and I attend Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC) in Tifton, Georgia. I just completed my first year and am majoring in Criminal Justice. After college, I plan to pursue a career with the Georgia State Patrol.

I want to serve this summer at Camp Crosspoint because I love working with the kids, and when you get the chance to lead them to Christ, it feels like an accomplishment. This summer, my role will consist of ensuring that the kids love recreation time. Among leading kids to Christ and helping them to grow in that relationship, kids also need to have fun! Recreation time is a time for fun, games, and competition, but it's also a time to model a Christ-like attitude; to have good sportsmanship no matter the score, to be encouraging to someone no matter which team they're on, and to have a good attitude no matter the outcome.

Some things you could be praying for me about this summer:

  1. That I would have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with the kids and be able to lead them closer to the cross.

  2. Unity among all staff.
